Allah’u’Abha! Dear friends,
|
The Local Spiritual Assembly is writing to share with you the profoundly significant message from the Universal House of Justice dated 31 December 2025, addressed to the Conference of the Continental Boards of Counsellors. As our National Spiritual Assembly has requested that this message be distributed "without delay," we urge every member of our community to enter into a deep and prayerful study of its contents.

This message is far more than a progress report; it presents new insights derived from the practical efforts of the global Bahá’í community during the first phase of the Nine Year Plan. The House of Justice indicates that a "dedication to the process of learning" is the "surest foundation" for the progress required in the Plan's upcoming second phase.

As we study this document together, we wish to highlight several themes that are vital to our local efforts:
|
- Organic Growth: The House of Justice reminds us that growth is an "organic process, not a mechanical one". Our success depends on our collective capacity to "read evolving realities" and adopt approaches suited specifically to our local conditions rather than applying a "fixed formula".
- The Ecosystem of Learning: We are encouraged to foster a "flourishing process of learning" characterized by a free-flowing exchange of ideas and insights. As your Local Assembly, we are mindful of our responsibility to tend to this "ecosystem of learning" and to ensure our community is connected by loving relationships.
- Society-Building Power: The message describes how the "society-building power of the Faith" is becoming increasingly visible as we learn to apply Bahá’í principles to fundamental processes of community life, such as health, education, and the family.
- Individual Transformation: The House of Justice describes how engagement with the Plan helps us align our lives with the Will of God, leading to a life of purpose and a "habit of mind" focused on learning. It specifically calls us to learn how to discern when "the city of the heart is open" in those we encounter.
We call on each and everyone of you to systematically study these insights to ensure our community becomes a "visible protagonist" in the Plan. We hope that by immersing ourselves in these guidances, we can all experience the "joy and comfort" that comes from proffering the divine remedy to a world in intense need.

Experience a soulful blend of faith and music, where a classic Bahá’í prayer, revealed by the Báb but chanted by Bahá’u’lláh during his time in the Siyah-Chal, or "Black Pit". This was a subterranean prison in Persia’s capital city and this was a chant that was sung as a call and response by the prisoners. These sacred words meet smooth rhythm for a new kind of meditation, bringing strength and reassurance that even if you have nothing else, you have God, and that is all you need.

Counsellors’ conference ends with reflection on spiritual renewal
BAHÁ’Í WORLD CENTRE — Five days of spirited consultation among the Continental Boards of Counsellors reached their conclusion today with the reading of a message from the Universal House of Justice addressed to the Bahá’ís of the world.
|
|
The message reflects on the rich accounts shared during the conference of efforts unfolding across the world, advances taking shape in “settings of all kinds,” and highlights how these experiences are contributing to a “flourishing process of learning at every level of the community.”

Counsellors’ Conference opens
BAHÁ’Í WORLD CENTRE — The Conference of the Continental Boards of Counsellors commenced this morning at the International Teaching Centre Building.

The gathering of the senior officers of the Bahá’í Faith opened with the reading of a message from the Universal House of Justice addressed to the conference. The message reflects on the notable progress being made in the worldwide Bahá’í community’s collective efforts toward social betterment and draws attention to the urgent requirements of the work that lies ahead.
