Allah’u’Abha! Dear friends,
|
We hope this letter finds you well and filled with the spirit of joy and unity as we approach the joyous festival of Ridván. With great pleasure, I write to introduce the Ridván 2024 Message from the Universal House of Justice.
|
The Ridván period, commemorating the declaration of Bahá'u'lláh's mission and signifying a time of spiritual renewal and growth, is a special occasion for the global Bahá'í community. Each year, during this time, the Universal House of Justice addresses the worldwide Bahá'í community with a message that offers guidance, encouragement, and insight into the progress of the Faith.

The Ridván 2024 Message, penned by the Universal House of Justice, carries profound significance as we continue to advance in the unfoldment of the current Nine Year Plan and endeavor to apply its principles and teachings in our communities and lives. This message is a beacon of hope and direction, inviting us to reflect on the achievements and challenges of our collective efforts and to rededicate ourselves to the spiritual and material progress of society. "All must surge, but the youth must soar."

We urge you to engage with the Ridván 2024 Message, whether through personal study, discussions within your community, or through collective gatherings. Let us embrace the guidance therein with open hearts and minds, and let its wisdom illuminate our path forward.

May this Ridván be a time of spiritual rejuvenation, community building, and collective action as we draw inspiration from the words of the Universal House of Justice and the example of Bahá'u'lláh's life and teachings.

NEW DELHI — Over 250 guests, including government officials, interfaith leaders, and members of civil society organizations, gathered at the Bahá’í House of Worship in New Delhi to commemorate the centenary of India’s Bahá’í National Spiritual Assembly.

A message received from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, read during the gathering, expressed appreciation for the contribution of the Bahá’ís of that country to fostering social cohesion over the past century.

Shrine of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá: Work begins on building systems and exterior surfaces
BAHÁ’Í WORLD CENTRE — Following the completion of the structural elements of the Shrine of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the project has now advanced to a stage focused on the intricate details of the finishing work. This next step encompasses a wide range of activities, from preparing the exterior surfaces to integrating electrical and mechanical systems, all aimed at bringing the physical form of the Shrine to its envisioned splendor.

Speaking with the Bahá’í World News Service, Khosrow Rezai, the project manager alongside a diverse team of engineers, artisans, and volunteers, described how the team is advancing the project with ingenuity and agility as they respond to delays in the supply and production of materials. “Each challenge we encounter, becomes a moment of learning and an opportunity to witness the power of unity and perseverance,” he said.
